L.J. Russell is a native of Central New York. After receiving degrees from Middlebury College and Syracuse University, he struck on a road that took him into the classroom where he still teaches U.S. History to 8th graders. He spends his time skiing and hanging out on Skaneateles Lake, looking at the woods and the water, wondering what unknowns are hiding in the shadows that would make a great story.
