About the Author
Barbara Harken, originally from Chicago, made Iowa her home at sixteen. She teaches writing at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, while pursuing a side career as a singer in her spare time. Barbara and her husband, Bob, are proud parents of two adult sons, and they joyfully embrace their roles as grandparents to two grandchildren, along with two patient daughters-in-law. “Degree of Guilt” stands as Barbara’s remarkable second novel.
