What do you do when you’re not writing about your book?
Terrance Nathan: When I’m not writing physically, I’m writing mentally. My job as an Author is nonstop.
What are your interests?
Terrance Nathan: My interests are vast but what I enjoy doing the most is studying history.
What are your hobbies?
Terrance Nathan: My favorite hobby is writing. Writing is 24/7 for me.
Who do you want to acknowledge or special mention?
Terrance Nathan: I want to acknowledge Mr. J.R.R. Tolkien. The 17-year journey he spent creating the “Lords of the Rings” epic novels is nothing short of remarkable. Special mention to Mrs. Maya Angelou, a very intriguing and astonishing woman/author.
Do you have a pen name? If you do, how did you come up with it?
Terrance Nathan: No pen name. I love seeing my given name on my published manuscripts. A tribute to my parents for the name they blessed me with.
What does literary success look like to you?
Terrance Nathan: I see literary success as being acknowledged by my fellow authors and readers of my work.
Do you believe in writers’ block?
Terrance Nathan: I don’t believe in writers’ block. I see writers’ block as just being fatigued. When you’re writing, take the time to relax and have fun.
What’s your advice to aspiring writers?
Terrance Nathan: My advice to aspiring writers is to simply enjoy the journey as you write. Remember it’s a marathon, not a race. HAVE FUN!
Are there any specific book titles that inspire you?
Terrance Nathan: “DARTH PLAGUEIS” and “DARTH VADER” ( The Rise of DARTH VADER) by James Luceno are the books that inspire me. The vision, imagination, and descriptive storytelling are awesome.
Are there any authors who inspire you?
Terrance Nathan: Mr. Stephen King is my inspiration. Mr. Kings’ books are timeless classics and re-known all over the world.
What aspects of your life helped inspire the book?
Terrance Nathan: The aspects of my life that inspired my book “ATTACHMENT” intertwined with my love and appreciation of the silent film era which features artistry and extensive expressions without words. I always valued and challenged myself to invoke those traits when dealing with certain situations that arise in my life.
